SIP’s and Building Codes

SIP’s are recognized in the Southern Building Code as well as the new International Building Code. Florida, Louisiana, most of Alabama and most of Mississippi have adopted the International Building Code, however some counties have not made the change as yet and are still be under the old Southern Code. Residential Advantage’s panels are constructed in compliance with the respective codes and will be certified as required by an architect or engineer as to their performance. We will assist you in working with your local jurisdiction regarding code interpretation should the need arise.
